Downsides to GreenWorks 20-Inch Lawn Mower
Some downsides are that being corded, you are realistically limited to small lawns. The reason is you need a ready plug socket and cord. And though you can get some super long cords and extensions- over 100 metres- it is far from ideal and easy. We really do just recommend this mower for smaller lawns. That’s where you will get the most out of it. As a simple safety and usage measure, always make sure the cord is clipped onto the mower (there’s a clip on the mower) so as to lower the chances of running over the cord with your mower.
Another downside is that if you have very wide and thick grass, the mower may struggle. You’ll want to go over your lawn a couple of times to make sure of an even cut. Additionally, if you have wide blade grass, we recommend you use the side discharge or bag for grass clippings. With wide grass, the mulch tends to be rather thick and take a while to decompose, whilst also potentially clogging your mower’s blade.
